LEVEL 2 AUTHORISED
SERVICE PROVIDER

A Level 2 Electrician is different to a regular Electrician as they hold more qualifications and conduct a higher level of electrical work, that is a lot more technical. Our Level 2 Electricians work with electrical supply from the street to a property, therefore it has its own unique set of requirements in order to complete these projects safely and correctly. If you have seen someone working at the top of a power pole in your street, chances are- it is a CED Level 2 Electrician!

We can conduct the following Level 2 (ASP) works on behalf of Essential Energy:

• Class 2A – Service line disconnect and reconnect
• Class 2B – Work on underground service conductors
• Class 2C – Work on overhead service conductors
• Class 2D – Installing metering for meter types 5 to 6 and other Network Operator service equipment

(Please note: ‘Classes’ were formerly known as ‘Categories’ e.g. CAT1, CAT2, CAT3, CAT4)

Our Level 2 ASP’s can offer the following services:

• Connecting/ disconnecting your premises from the electricity network
• All overhead works that require attention
• Repair or install of an underground service line to join your property to the electricity network on the street
• Repair or install overhead service lines to join your property to the main electricity network
• Installation of electricity meters
• Installation and energise Smart Meters for a retail company
• Off peak relay installation
• Upgrading customer/service mains
• Installation of three-phase power supply
• Relocation of the point of attachments
• Installation of power poles
• Repair and replace all fuses as required
